The District Governor of District 404A-4, Nigeria, Lion ( Prince) Engr. Monday Osadebamwen Okoro, PMJF, NLCF has rounded-off his visits to Regions 4 and 3B in Ondo State.
The District Governor and his entourage who were received on arrival to the Sunshine State by highly excited Lion members in the ancient city of Owo on Wednesday commissioned a billboard which showcased some recently delivered service activities of the club in town.
At an interactive session with club officers and members, the District Governor said there were rooms for expansion for Clubs in Owo adding that Lions must embrace the opportunity of diverse training programmes in the Lions Club to enhance their development in the values of lionism.
Later in the day, the District Governor arrived Ondo City to a warm welcome which dovetailed to being hosted by Suncity Radio Station to a Live Programme.
The Radio programme provided the District Governor the opportunity to call his listeners to join the Lions Club, which is the largest service organisation in the world, for the purpose of entrenching peace and humanitarian services into the fabric of societal development of Ondo City in greater proportion.
Lions in Ondo City later in the day had the opportunity to have a memorable ‘heart to heart discussions,’ with the District Governor during which commitments to Mission 1.5 were amply demonstrated with the addition of new members to clubs in the city.
